Australia: BioAktiv Induces Greater Patches of Actinomycetes
Toowomba 2021: A pile of bark and manure for composting, treated with BioAktiv for Compost on 13 July 2021, grew greater patches of actinomycetes just before the first turning on 25 August 2021. Appeared as white fungal growths on the surface and at 30 cm depth of the pile, they help to speed up the composting process. [Photos]
Germany: Horse Manure Compost at Gut Heinrichshof
Dresden 2016: Gut Heinrichshof practiced sustainable ecological management at its ranch near Dresden. The ranch, raising about 80 horses, produced close to 2,000 m3 of manure in a year. They first treated their composting material containing 100 m3 manure with BioAktiv Professional Compost in April 2016. Immediately, they turned the treated material repeatedly to ensure an even distribution of the BioAktiv product. The positive effect from BioAktiv was visible two months later. As soon as early September 2016, they were using the horse manure compost on the pasture. [Report]
“However when BioAktiv was applied the owner of the site said the leachate sump became alive and no odour was released…”

Australia: Enviroganics Compost from BioAktiv-fed Cattle Manure
Richard Armstrong: “Over the past two to three years, since the introduction of BioAktiv Salis [to feed the cattle] at Kerwee [where Enviroganics gets the manure], our operation has seen a reduction in compost processing time of about 15%, a reduction in odour levels, an increase in nutrient levels and a finished product ratio of about 100%, all very economically significant.” [Report]
Vietnam: BioAktiv Produce More and Better Compost
Ho Chi Minh City 2010: BioAktiv Far East, collaborating with a local partner, conducted a large-scale trial in a large waste treatment facility in Ho Chi Minh City. France: A Study on BioAktiv for Compost by ETR Innov Agri
Vannecourt 2008: The French BioAktiv distributor, Sàrl B.E.S. commissioned ETR Innov Agri to conduct a study. They sprayed 10 kg BioAktiv for Compost in 1,000 litres of clean water over 320 tonnes of composting material on 4 June 2008. Another pile of 320 tonnes of similar material served as the control. Over the first 25 days, the temperatures of the BioAktiv-treated pile were consistently higher than the untreated pile. Screening of the untreated pile took place on 12 July, while screening on 29 June of the BioAktiv-treated pile showed 20% higher yield of compost. [Report]

Germany: Velbert GKR Composting Plant
Germany 1997: A trial done at GKR Composting Plant, a large composting plant in Velbert, Germany, showed that the use of BioAktiv for Compost increased the temperature and carbon dioxide content but reduced the oxygen content in the composting material, indicating that it enhanced the aerobic bacterial processes to speed up the composting process. [Summary] [Report]
