BioAktiv Professional Water is applied to polluted water to effectively catalyse the aerobic biodegradation of biomaterials by accelerating the multiplication of aerobic microbes and prohibiting that of anaerobic microbes, and drastically reduce the emission of foul odorous gases.
Mode of Action
BioAktiv GmbH in Germany has developed a proprietary process to manufacture BioAktiv products. Through a converter, BioAktiv manufacturer loads a special ‘oxygen information’ in the raw material of BioAktiv Professional Water, which is pure natural chalk (calcium carbonate CaCO₃). When the product is mixed with fresh water, hosed onto polluted water, the ‘oxygen information’ in the product promotes the multiplication of aerobic microbes in the waste matters in the water. An increased population of aerobic microbes not only speeds up the aerobic biodegradation processes, but also suppresses the population of anaerobic microbes and hence prohibiting anaerobic processes that produce foul odorous gases.
BioAktiv Provides Many Benefits
Accelerated aerobic biodegradation of polluted water ensured by BioAktiv Professional Water brings many benefits.
- Effectively prohibits anaerobic processes
- Efficient in removing excess nutrients in water
- Drastically reduces foul gases and odour
- Increases oxygen content in water
- Healthier environment for aquatic lives
- More pleasant environment for people
Quality Certification
BioAktiv Professional Water has been certified by Germany National Organic Program and EU (889/2008) for input material in organic farming.
Application
- Best to applied when water temperature is above 14°C.
- Aerate stagnant water for better effect.
- For water volume less than 1,000 m³ apply 5 g/m³.
- For water volume 1,000 m³and more apply 3 g/m³.
- Effect is seen after a few weeks.
- If necessary, apply 2 g/m³ after 6 weeks.
- Not suitable for direct algae control.
